Arriba Juntos provides San Francisco residents who are most at risk for prolonged poverty with educational and employment programs.

Arriba Juntos offers a variety of occupational and educational programs in the transportation, technology, and health care fields. Each participant receives intensive and customized case management, vocational/occupational training, job placement activities, and job retention services.

Arriba Juntos also offers services that are available to the entire community, including: job fairs, a computer center, job orientations, drop-in services, a food pantry, a Christmas toy give away, and free seasonal tax preparation.

Goal / Mission

The goal of Arriba Juntos is to provide those most at risk for prolonged poverty with educational and employment programs.

Results / Accomplishments

The food pantry run by Arriba Juntos provides healthy food to more than 900 community members every Thursday and over 2,500 children and their families participate in the Christmas toy give away every year. In the 2009-2010 fiscal year, over 75,000 community members accessed Arriba Juntos' various programs and services. The organization had been serving the San Francisco community since 1965.
